Welcome to the home page for the BFMUG, here in the UK. We hope you will find this site informative, useful, helpful or inspirational!
The emphasis on this site (and indeed the group) is to provide a service to the local Apple Macintosh community. What the site doesn't try to do is provide information regarding the very latest Mac related news - there are plenty of other sites that do that...
Anyway, have a read, see what you think and hopefully show your face at a meeting.
At present the facilities of this site are basic, but based on feedback and demand we hope to grow the provided capabilities.

In a post dated September 2007 Daniel said “ '1Password' which is a program that remembers all your internet passwords for you. If like me you have trouble remembering lots of different passwords this program keeps all of your internet passwords ..encrypted [in] Keychain on the system ...I'm using it constantly now and it has improved the security of all my online info (credit cards, etc) because I can use long passwords without having to remember them.”
Daniel also said Don McAllister over on ScreenCastsOnline has done “a very easy to follow video tutorial which not only explains how to use the program”.

On 1 June 2009 codeweavers.com priced the standard Mac version at £25.99 and said a 30 trial is available
Just like in December 2007, anyone interested in giving Crossover Mac a whirl would be well advised to check the database of programs that are compatible with it. It did not work with the version of Microsoft Money I tried it with. If I read the database correctly most versions of Money will not work with Crossover and the one that works does not qualify for the top compatibility rating.]
